Po Chi Wu
Dr. Po Chi Wu is an Investor in Human Capital. He is an active Advisor at SkyDeck, the incubator/accelerator program at UC Berkeley and advises several startups around the world. His passion for making a difference has grown over several decades of experience as a venture capitalist and entrepreneur in Silicon Valley and in Greater China, and most recently as an adjunct professor teaching entrepreneurship in Hong Kong and Berkeley. He is a co-founder and senior partner at Futurelab Consulting, which is focused on new technologies at the intersection of blockchain, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. He is a co-author of “Agile Innovation: The Revolutionary Approach to Accelerate Success, Inspire Engagement, and Ignite Creativity” (Wiley & Sons, 2014) and “Quantum Design Sprints (2019). In the nonprofit world, he is a co-founder and Director of Entrepreneur Futures Network (EFN), which provides mentors to business plan competitions at major universities such as Yale, NYU, and the University of Michigan. In Hong Kong, he was a co-founder and Vice-Chairman of Invotech, where he championed the role of entrepreneurship in building Smart Cities. Dr. Wu has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Princeton University and BA degrees in Mathematics and Music from UC Berkeley.
