Hugo W.L. Mak is an Assistant Professor (Research) at the University of Hong Kong. His core research is on Environmental Informatics, Satellite Remote Sensing, Data Assimilation and Geospatial Analytics in Air Quality and Climate Studies. He is keen on applying mathematical and interdisciplinary techniques into alleviating real-world social concerns and developing Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area into a smart and sustainable future city.
